Jeannette L. Hampton

Jeannette L. Hampton Age 73, of Novi, passed away suddenly January 10, 2013. She was born April 17, 1939 in Cumberland, Maryland; daughter of Lloyd Brant and Ethel (Dietz) Bell. Jeannette was united in marriage to Lewis "Joe" Hampton; they spent over 25 loving years together until his death on January 10, 2013. She was very devoted to her faith. Jeannette loved to garden and was a very helpful person. She was an avid collector of everything. She is survived by her children, Charles O. Corry, Cheryl (Timothy) Price, Darrell (Joyce) Corry, Jonathon (Patricia) Harshman, and Lorin L. Harshman; her sisters, Barbara Sutton, Clara Mae Bartram, Betty May, and June Baker; 28 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lewis F. Hampton; her son Jeffery W. Corry; her brothers, Lloyd Brant Jr., Richard "Dick" Brant, Harley Brant, and Donald Brant; and her sister Dolores Brant. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 4-8pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Swart & Wolfe Funeral Home in West Carrollton, Ohio later this week. She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
