Zavian Elise Lanzano-Lampe, age 15, of Northville, formerly of Corona, California, passed away January 3, 2025. She was born on March 11, 2009 in Sacramento, California; daughter of Gia-Evita Lanzano and Kurtis Lampe.
Zavian attended Santiago High School in Corona, California, where she excelled academically and completed the 9th grade. She moved to Michigan just before the school year began and continued her studies at Northville High School as a 10th-grade student. Incredibly bright and dedicated, Zavian maintained an A-average throughout her academic journey, always striving for excellence. She had a close-knit circle of friends whom she loved to spend time with. At Northville High School, Zavian was a proud member of the Costuming Club, contributing her talents behind the scenes to support the drama club's productions. She was also a dedicated member of the Rotary Interact Club at NHS. This fall, Zavian and her sister participated in the "Color My World" 5k, a vibrant event where participants were covered in the colors of the rainbow while walking throughout the course.
Zavian was an exceptional artist whose talent and creativity reflected a maturity far beyond her 15 years. She approached her art with unwavering dedication, striving for perfection in every piece she created. Her work, often centered on pencil, colored pencil, and charcoal drawings, showcased intricate detail and impeccable shading. Each creation was a testament to her passion, precision, and extraordinary artistic vision. Zavian had a special connection with nature and found happiness in life’s simple moments. Whether climbing trees, marveling at the grace of a bird, or lying in the grass soaking in the moment, she embraced the beauty of the natural world with a deep sense of wonder. She had a special appreciation for flowers, often gathering blooms to bring indoors and share their beauty with those she loved.
Zavian, a typical teenager, had a love for music that spanned all genres and was reflected in the playlists she created. An animal lover at heart, she adored creatures of all kinds, but her greatest affection was reserved for her beloved cat, Felix, her constant furry companion. An analytical thinker with a sharp sense of humor, Zavian had the rare ability to engage in intelligent, meaningful conversations while making those around her smile. Her dream was to become a psychologist, a path well-suited to her empathetic nature and exceptional listening skills. She had an innate ability to sense the emotions and needs of those around her, offering comfort and understanding in a way that was uniquely her own. Above all, Zavian’s greatest love was her sisters. As the youngest of triplets, she shared a bond with them that was extraordinary and unbreakable; a connection built on love, shared experiences, and a closeness only they could understand. Her light and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Zavian is survived by her loving parents, Tony and Sara Morabito; her sisters, Kielan Lanzano-Lampe, Giony Lanzano-Lampe, and Gianna Morabito; her grandparents, Steve and Martha Stevens; her uncles, Dale Lampe and Rick (Julie) Morabito; her aunts, Suzanne (Peter) Corvi, Laura Stevens, and Kristina Morabito; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her mom, Gia-Evita Lanzano and her grandparents Joseph Lanzano and Eva-Maria Elise Lanzano.
