Troy A. Pinion

Troy A. Pinion, age 51, of Carleton, passed away suddenly March 31, 2021.  He was born on December 8, 1969 in Wayne, Michigan; son of John Robert and Cynthia Ann (nee Atchison) Pinion. Troy graduated from Southfield High School, class of 1989. He was united in marriage to Debra “Debbie” Grummel on November 7, 2010; they made a home for their blended family for over 18 years. Troy was a talented welder who worked for Futuramic Tool and Engineering for 20 years.

Troy was an honest and true friend who will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He enjoyed being outdoors; he would often be found sitting on his front porch or by the fire in the backyard just relaxing. He genuinely liked cutting the grass and was particular about his lawn. When he was not outside being adventurous, he could be found playing video games like Call of Duty . Troy loved reminiscing about his youth and sharing stories from his childhood. He also liked listening to the “oldies” station and would often be caught singing along. Troy was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Troy is survived by his devoted wife Debbie; his children, twin daughters Amber Pinion and Nicole Pinion, Shelby (Lowell Ulshafer) Angilley, and Nick Angilley; his parents, John and Cindy Pinion; his sister Bobbie Pinion; his nieces, Becky Pinion and Ashley Pinion; his great niece Dawn; and his great nephew Wyatt. He will be deeply missed by many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle Robert Keller and his grandparents Royal and Louise Keller.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 1pm until 3pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 3pm at the First Baptist Church of Flat Rock, 24180 Gibraltar Road, Flat Rock, MI 48134. Pastor Robert Boyce will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
