Thomas was an avid reader and history buff; he especially liked WWII non-fiction and world history. He had a vast collection of WWII replica models, including tanks, planes, and aircraft carriers that he built himself. He was most proud of the model of the Titanic that he built. Thomas was incredibly intelligent and very knowledgeable about all sorts of subjects. He preferred to do his own thing which sometimes included taking a road trip to see something that piqued his interest or just to visit friends and family. A sports fan, one of his favorite teams was the Detroit Red Wings and he always enjoyed watching a good baseball game. Thomas’ greatest joy came from his family and watching them happily surrounded by friends. He adored his wife and considered her to be his best friend. Thomas will be missed by all who loved him.
