Thomas E. Fenn

February 20, 1945 — November 8, 2019

Thomas E. Fenn, age 74, of Shelby Township, returned to his loving wife Sheri and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 8, 2019. He arrived in this world on February 20, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan; son of Raymond Floyd and Mary C. (Roy) Fenn. Tom was united in marriage to Sheri McLain on January 23, 2002; they were devoted to each other for 12 years until her death on September 4, 2014.

Tom graduated from St. Louis High School in Mount Clemens; Class of 1962. He worked most of his life in Land Surveying as a Survey Technician. After retiring from the Survey Industry, he worked as a camper repairman at T&C RV in Clare, Michigan and most recently as a custodian for Fraser Public Schools. Tom loved fishing, camping and football.

Tom was dedicated to his faith and religion. He was an active member of St. Blase Parish in Sterling Heights and a member of Our Lady of Hope in Clare. Tom volunteered with the American Red Cross and Reap Food Pantry. He was a proud Third Degree Knight of Columbus.

Tom is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Kirk) Dahring; his brother John R. Fenn; his sister-in-law Lynn Fenn; his grandchildren, Kayley, Kyra, Karissa, Kiana, and Kage; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by very dear friends, like family, Frank and Beth Toarmina, Pat Andres, Annie Ramirez, Shayla Heiller, and Steve and Janet Sczepanski. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his siblings Mary, Russel, Marjorie, Ron, and Carol.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 9:30am, instate at 8:30am at St. Blase Parish, 12151 Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights. Rev. Father Randall Phillips will officiate the mass. Tom will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery next to his beloved wife Sheri.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tawny K. Dahring Foundation supporting cancer research and comfort care and sent to P.O. Box 835, Northville, MI 48167.
