Susan Margaret Schuetzler

Sue Schuetzler, 72, of Wixom, died on March 18, 2023.  She was born on February 14, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Walter and Marie (Terreault) Kidd.  She grew up in Farmington, Michigan and graduated from North Farmington High School.  Susan was united in marriage to Arthur C. Schuetzler on August 5, 1972; they spent over 31 loving years devoted to one another until his death on March 19, 2005.

Sue worked alongside her husband for over 40 years running their company Farmington Landscape.  She loved being outdoors in the sunshine with her hands in the dirt.  Sue was incredibly creative and artistic.  She dabbled in many different mediums including metal work, stained glass, and quilting.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her loving daughters, Stephanie (Glenn) Caldwell, Michele (Rick) Jacoby, and Heidi (Derek Blayer) Schuetzler; her grandchildren, Annaliese, Grace, Henry, Matilda, Olivia, and Rosemarie; and her siblings, Allan Kidd, Wendy Brink, Dawn Hanttula, and Kathy Maki.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Arthur “Artie” Schuetzler, her parents, and her brother Jim “UJ” Kidd.

Honoring her wishes, no public funeral services will be held.
