Susan A. Dysarczyk

August 6, 1953 — February 14, 2020

Susan A. Dysarczyk, age 66 a longtime resident of Canton, passed away on February 14, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1953 in Pontiac, Michigan; daughter of Raymond and Barbara (nee Braboy) Lobert. Susan was united in marriage to William D. Dysarczyk on January 28, 1978; they just celebrated their 42 nd wedding anniversary. Susan graduated from Walled Lake Central; Class of 1971. She was an Operations Supervisor with Trans-Overseas. Susan was a dedicated employee for over 40 years.

Susan was a very loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her sense of humor and warm smile made people instantly love her. Susan was an unconditional friend; once you became friends, you were friends for life. She was still great friends with girls she met in grade school.  Susan put a lot of love into bargain shopping and was determined to find the most thoughtful gift for family and friends. Susan would often be found lounging in the sun and floating in a pool. Her favorite vacation spots were somewhere warm with a beach. Susan enjoyed hosting parties and would use her amazing baking skills to make delicious treats that everyone enjoyed. The treat most of her family and friends favored was her homemade toffee. She was the best Grandma and cherished the snuggles with her granddaughter, Lila.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill; her daughters, Laura (Armando Lopez) Dysarczyk and Katie (Dan) Vanderjagt; her siblings, Danny (Jayne) Lobert, Julie (Steve) Germond, and David (Dawn Balhorn) Lobert; and her grandchildren, Lila, Paige, Danny, and Josie. She is also loved and survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Rick Lobert.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 2pm until 8pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11am, instate at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church, 777 W. 8 Mile Road, Northville. Rev. Marsha Woolley will officiate the service.
