Stephanie Zdybicki

Stephanie Zdybicki, age 94, of Farmington Hills, formerly a longtime resident of Redford, passed away February 23, 2019. She was born on December 29, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of Andrew and Barbara (nee Blazincic) Glavanovich.  She graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn; Class of 1942.  Stephanie was united in marriage to Aloysius Zdybicki on September 11, 1943; they spent 43 loving years together as husband and wife until his death in 1986.

Stephanie worked as an accountant retiring after many years in the workforce.  She was an excellent bowler and bowled in many leagues over the years.  She enjoyed spending her summers up north at her cottage.  Her true joy was spending time with family, she especially adored her nieces and nephew.

Stephanie is survived by her loving nieces, Barbara (Robert) Schmoekel, Lisa (Charles) Jurich, and Maria (Bill) Deiter; and her great niece Tracy (Phil) Krause.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother Andrew Glavanovich, her sister Anna Glavanovich, her sister Josephine Rakczoy, and her nephew Michael Glavanovich.

Private family services were held.  She was laid to rest next to her husband at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
