Robin L. Moore, age 49, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2023. She was born on October 26, 1973 in Southfield, Michigan; daughter of William Wall and Adele (Rupp) Wall. Robin was united in marriage to Paul E. Moore on March 6, 1999; they spent over 24 years devoted to each other.
Robin was raised in Detroit until the age of 11 when her family moved to Westland. After marrying Paul, they lived in Westland for 5 years before moving to Plymouth. She was a 1991 graduate of John Glenn High School in Westland. She was a dedicated member of the First
Baptist Church of Northville for the past 11 years. Robin was a distinguished member of the choir where her classically trained voice was a blessing. She loved the Lord, and was always ready to praise and worship Him with the talent He had given her.
Robin was a domestic diva. Her greatest achievement was being the best wife and mother. Robin was a Disney superfan, whether it was going on vacation to the parks, taking a Disney Cruise, helping her family and friends plan their trips, or relaxing in her comfy Disney attire. She loved to read, her interests included mystery and fantasy books, but she also enjoyed reading inspirational books. During road trips, Robin and Paul would often flip stations to play a music trivia game, but if Bon Jovi, Heart, or Mercy Me was playing, the station stayed. She treasured the time she spent playing trivia with her husband and friends on Thursday nights as “Mickey’s Minions”. Over time, Robin became a foodie. She learned from her husband how to eat steak that is properly cooked and eventually grew her pallet to savor fine cuisine. Robin was an exceptional cook and baker. She never made the same thing twice even if it was perfect, she always modified the recipe. Robin’s lemon cake was known as the best in town!
Robin’s favorite season was fall. She loved the leaves changing, U of M Football, and when the Franklin Cider Mill opened. It was always a stop on her birthday to get cider, donuts, and Apple Pie Bread. Robin’s birthday being close to Halloween helped fuel the love of the season. She would always recount the Halloween themed birthdays she had growing up, and it’s no surprise one of her favorite movies was “Hocus Pocus”.
Robin’s world was her son Jake. He was her miracle baby and Robin never took that for granted. They played games, took numerous selfies, went on adventures to the park, and loved to play in the pool. Robin spent many hours watching her son play sports and was a very proud mom. She lovingly called her husband, son, and even their dog “The Boys”. Cider, a golden doodle, was an exciting addition to their family last year as their first dog Bumbles had passed at the age of 15. Robin loved dogs and recently became a volunteer with P.O.E.T, an animal rescue in Garden City. She was a kind and tender-hearted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her beautiful voice, contagious laugh and wicked sense of humor will be deeply missed.
Robin is survived by her husband Paul; her son Anthony “Jake”; her parents, Bill Wall and Adele (Jim) Kirtley; her brothers, Eric (Mandy) Wall, James Wall, and Allen Brown; her sister Samantha Wall; her stepbrothers, Jim Kirtley, Jeff Kirtley, and Joe Kirtley; and her brothers-in-law, John (Robin) Moore and Ron (Vicki) Moore. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents and her in-laws, John Moore, Sr. and Matred “Bert” Moore.
