Rajean Anderson

Rajean Anderson of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 13, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born in Flora, Illinois on June 11, 1933 to Robert and Lindell Hargis.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Anderson. Loving mother of Steven (the late Tammy), Teri (Jeff), David (Lorie), Joseph (Stacey), Michael (Lori) and Carol. Cherished grandmother of Roxanne, Sean (Zoie), Dustin, Demi, Chelsea (Chris), Nolan (Nicole), Paige, RJ, and Ava. Adored great grandmother of Henry, Sebastian, and Sophia. Dear sister of the late Roberta Taylor.

Rajean loved her home and her family. However, nothing compared to the love she shared with her beloved Wally. Married for 60 years, they enjoyed many years of happiness spending summers at Glenn Lake Michigan and winters in Naples Florida.

Rajean was an artist at heart, her paintings and collages could be found hanging throughout her home. In the summer, Rajean spent time on her porch or in the garden creating a welcoming place for her family to gather. She always looked forward to her grandchildren visiting and swimming in the pool. She loved to listen to music while she cooked and on occasion you could even take her on a spin around the kitchen. Rajean was a very special lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10:30am until 11am with a funeral mass to follow at 11am at St. Anselm Parish, 17650 W. Outer Drive, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127. Rajean will be laid to rest privately next to her beloved husband Wally at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
