Patricia S. Allen

Patricia Sharon Allen (Hutchison), age 85, of Northville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 14, 2024. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 30, 1939 to William and Juanita (Beattie) Hutchison.

Pat has been a resident of Northville since 1974, moving from Livonia. She was a secretary at Ford Motor Company and retired in 1964.

Her husband, Richard, survives her. They were married on September 8, 1962. They have two sons, James Allen and Steven (Renata) Allen; two grandsons, Simeon Allen and Samuel Allen; and a sister, Judith (John) Walker.

Pat was deeply involved in the Northville community, holding memberships in various organizations such as the Friends of the Northville Library, First United Methodist Church, Northville Woman’s Club, Friends of Maybury, and Red Hats. As a devoted member of the Northville Genealogical Society, she created and maintained its website. She also served on the board and worked as an archivist for the Northville Historical Society. Her commitment to the Northville community was truly exceptional.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church, 777 West 8 Mile Road, Northville. Rev. Marsha Woolley will officiate the service. Pat will be laid to rest at Thayer Cemetery in Northville.
