Michael R. Wisner

Michael R. Wisner, age 62, of Livonia, passed away May 29, 2019.  He was born December 25, 1956 in Dearborn, Michigan; son of Robert and Janet (nee Rechlin) Wisner.  Michael graduated from Stevenson High School in Livonia; Class of 1975.  He continued his education and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.

Michael worked as a warehouse supervisor with Spartan Foods in Plymouth for several years, prior to that he worked at Farmer Jack in Detroit for over 20 years.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge.  Michael enjoyed playing computer games online with friends from all over the country.  He also enjoyed coin collecting throughout the years.  Michael was an avid sports fan, his favorite by far was pro football and the Dallas Cowboys.

Michael is survived by his loving mother, Janet Wisner; his siblings, Robin Paton, Bob (Maureen) Wisner, and Wanda (Dave) Hayes.  He was preceded in death by his father.

The visitation will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.  Pastor Christopher Fairbairn from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will officiate the service.
