Lexi C. Beliasov

Lexi C. Beliasov, age 80, of Novi, formerly of Huron, Ohio and Birmingham, Michgian, passed away on February 15, 2022. She was born on November 4, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio; daughter of James and Irene (Filiak) Rutledge. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio; Class of 1959.  Following graduation, she attended Toledo School of Nursing.  Lexi was united in marriage to Alec Beliasov on December 31, 1966; they spent 55 years lovingly devoted to one another.

Lexi worked as a Registered Nurse for Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio for 5 years.  After getting married she stayed home to care for her family.  Lexi was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Birmingham where she volunteered regularly in various capacities.

Lexi was incredibly fun; she had a big personality and played by her own rules.  While growing up, she enjoyed swimming and horseback riding.  A world traveler, she visited many bucket list destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, and Russia, as well as setting sail on many Viking cruises. She was an avid skier and spent most of the spring out west skiing in Vail. She liked golfing and was a member of Plum Brook Country Club in Huron, Ohio.  Lexi was a huge college football fan, especially the Big 10.  She spent each football season at her condo near Penn State hosting fantastic tailgating events for family and friends.  She will be missed for her love of life and adventurous spirit.

Lexi is survived by her beloved husband, Alec Beliasov; her son, Mike (Jill) Beliasov; her grandchildren, Ben and Ellie; her brothers, James (Brenda) Rutledge and Michael Rutledge; and her stepsister, Mary (Steve) Gillette. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
