Lenore L. Lacca

Age 82, longtime resident of Northville, passed away on June 12, 2021. She was born September 8, 1938; daughter of Samuel and Wanda (nee Czerwinski) Clydesdale.  She graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn; Class of 1956.  Lenore was united in marriage to Frank Lacca on October 22, 1960; they spent 60 years lovingly devoted to one another.

After high school Lenore began working as a secretary for Ford Motor Company which she did until she was married.  She later went to work as a temp and then as a medical transcriptionist at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, retiring in 2002.

Lenore was an avid reader, she liked to read magazines and historical biographies.  She was a history buff and had a collection of items and mementos from the colonial times.  She had several beautiful antique pieces as well as a collection of clocks.  Lenore enjoyed listening to music; she and her husband often attended the symphony and had seen many shows at the Fox Theater throughout the years.  A dog lover, she always had a poodle in her life, her current furry companion was named Timmy.  One of Lenore’s greatest joys was caring for her husband whom she loved dearly.

Lenore is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Lacca and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville.  A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Humane Society of Huron Valley , 3100 Cherry Hill Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
