Landen R. Bosak

June 15, 2005 — March 15, 2024

Landen R. Bosak, age 18, of Northville passed away unexpectedly at home on March 15, 2024. He was born on June 15, 2005 in Commerce Township, Michigan to Frank H. Bosak, III and Christine A. Bethel.

Recently, Landen spent his time learning a new form of communication called Spell 2 Communicate. This allowed his family and friends insight into his sense of humor, his astounding intellect, and his lofty goals for the future. He made it abundantly clear that his goal was to bring this alternative communication method to other non-speakers affected with apraxia. He was a young man with big dreams and plans for the future.

Landen was a wonderful young man with a huge heart and an infectious laugh. Always smiling, he affected people everywhere he went and brought joy to all those around him. He was well loved by so many people, from the tellers at the credit union to the neighbors who spotted him at his desk in the window - you just couldn’t help but return the same smiley enthusiasm. One of his many gifts included giving people the ability to be the best version of themselves. Landen had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed hiking at Maybury. He also loved to travel and visited Florida each year with family and friends to spend time in the ocean. Landen liked to go to the arcade and bounce at the trampoline park. He also liked to draw and create. Landen loved to bowl with his friends, especially his Kingpins. His greatest joy was being with family, especially during the holidays. While he loved to celebrate all the holidays, Christmas was his favorite and he made sure the tree was up by December 1st each year. He adored animals and had a special place in his heart for his boxer Parker. Landen was a happy, beautiful soul who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Landen is survived by his adoring parents, Frank Bosak, III and Christine Bethel; his beloved grandparents, Robert and Theresa Bethel and Susan Bosak; his dear great grandmother, Elizabeth Hubbert; his loving aunt Rebecca (Sloane) MacDonald; his loving cousin, James Bosak, II; and many family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle James Bosak.

A celebration of Landen's life will be held, Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Living and Learning Enrichment Center, 801 Griswold Street, Northville, Michigan 48167.
