Kristine Marie Weir

Kristine M. Weir, age 52, of Pittsfield Township, passed away suddenly on May 5, 2019. She was born on February 21, 1967 in Howell, Michigan; daughter of Robert and Dorothy (nee Garnick) Weir. Kristine was a 1985 graduate of South Lyon High School. She then continued her education at Ross Medical School where she earned her degree. Kristine worked as a Medical Assistant in the Urology Department at St. Joseph Hospital for over 10 years.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. Kristine had a wonderful personality and knew how to have a good time. She also had a great sense of humor. Kristine was an amazing, caring, and helpful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter Amber (Cory) Bartley; her father Robert Weir; her brothers, Kurt Weir and Gary (Kathy) Weir; and her grandchildren, Shelby Rose and Jordan Eric. She is also loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Kristine was preceded in death by her mother, her brothers Robert Weir, Jr. and Alan Weir, and her sister Karen Weir.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17 from 2pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18 at 11am, with visitation beginning at 10am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Pastor James McGuire with Christ Presbyterian Church will officiate the service.
