Kimbery G. Puckett
Age 58, of Brighton, formerly of Northville, passed away on December 5, 2021. She was born on October 3, 1963 in Livonia, Michigan; daughter of Charles and Irene (Spencer) Nichols.
Kimberly worked as a homecare aide and took care of many elderly clients throughout the years. She was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2504 Northville. She enjoyed food and liked to eat what anyone else was cooking. She loved animals and had a special connection to them, especially her Yorkies, Charlie and Brandon. Kimberly used music to reflect her mood; her favorite genre was country, particularly a good song that told a story. She liked to go to the casino, play cards and the slots. A tomboy at heart, she was an excellent softball player. Her heart belonged to the mountains and Jackson, Kentucky, where she would visit family several times a year. Kimberly was incredibly kind and loving; she was a fierce protector and a mom to anyone who needed one. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Nana. As Nana, she cherished the time they spent together watching movies or going to get ice cream. They were everything to her and she was everything to them. Kimberly was a devoted mother and sister; she had a special connection to her twin brother and will be missed by all who loved her.
Kimberly is survived by her loving daughters, Josalyn (James Johnson) Puckett and Megan (Matthew Diaz) McCready; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Timothy, Benjamin, Andrew, and Cole; her siblings, Sandra (William) Tierney, Denise (Bruce Sigman) Nichols, twin brother Gregory (Kim Cunningham) Nichols, and Scott (Tom Wesenberg) Earhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her niece Rachel Harris and her nephew Jason Puckett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon with a Funeral Service at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville. She will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northvillle.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to GoFundMe – Unexpected Expenses for Kimberly G. Puckett .
