Keith E. Steinhebel

Keith E. Steinhebel, age 80, a lifelong resident of Northville, passed away April 3, 2020.  He was born May 14, 1939 in Northville, Michigan; son of Charles and Helen (nee Weeks) Steinhebel.

Keith was a proud graduate of Northville High School, class of 1958. He was a Truck Driver in the Steel Hauling Industry. Keith, a dedicated employee, retired in 2008 from Alco Steel. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Northville.

He loved to restore cars, always tinkering with something mechanical. Keith liked to go golfing and fishing. At home he took care of birds (and squirrels too), always making sure they had food and water in their feeders. He was a big kid at heart. When his children were younger, he made sure they had fun and adventurous outdoor toys that they could play with together. Keith owned quarter midgets, small race cars, that he raced with his son Brian and his daughter Shelly. Keith was a very relaxed, no pressure guy and a very loving and kind father, grandfather, and friend.

Keith is survived by children, Beth (Joe Aviles) Steinhebel Daniels and Shelly (Sean) Steinhebel Crosby; and his grandchildren, Cole Daniels, Morgan Daniels, Christian Steinhebel, Tanner Parshall, and Bailey Steinhebel. He is also survived by his dear friend Peggy Steinhebel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son Brian Keith Steinhebel.
