Kathleen "Katie" M. Langan

Kathleen “Katie” Langan, age 37, of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1986 in Southfield, Michigan; daughter of John “Bob” and Yvonne (Regan) Langan.

Katie graduated from Mercy High School, class of 2004. Following graduation, she continued her education at Holy Cross College in South Bend, Indiana. From a young age, Katie was known for her ability to engage in deep philosophical conversations and her attentive listening skills. She was athletic and enjoyed playing softball and basketball. Katie also enjoyed playing the piano and guitar. She had a passion for baking, and every year, she made the most delicious birthday cakes for her daughters. Her home was always organized and well kept. Katie loved to shop and amassed an impressive collection of shoes over the years. She enjoyed watching movies, TV shows, and documentaries. Though she is gone too soon, she is now at peace.

Katie is survived by her daughters, Kaylee Langan and Zoe Langan; her mother, Yvonne Langan; her siblings, Bob Langan, Father Jeff Langan, Jamie (Kristine) Langan, Meghan (Scott Liddell) Langan, Ryan (Rilyn Keller) and Shannon (JT) Pillsbury; her nieces and nephews, Joanie, Trey, Nick, Ethan, Maddie, Austin, Logan, Cooper, and Ruke; and her partner of 15 years, Hugh Miller. She was preceded in death by her father Bob Langan and her sister-in-law Jennifer Langan.

A funeral mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 10:30am, with visitation beginning at 9:30am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville. Father Jeff Langan will officiate the service. Following mass, Katie will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
