Joseph J. Bress

Joseph J. Bress, age 46, a lifelong resident of Northville, passed away April 30, 2020.  He was born June 16, 1973 in Highland Park, Michigan; son of James and Shereyl (Beauchamp) Bress.  He graduated from Northville High School; Class of 1992.  Joseph was united in marriage to Andrea Rioux on June 15, 1996; they spent 23 years together as husband and wife.

Following high school Joseph attended trade school to become a journeyman plumber.  He worked with Roto Rooter for over 10 years and was most recently employed by Mr. Rooter in Macomb Township.

Joseph was a true outdoorsman.  He was an avid hunter and loved to be on the water fishing and boating.  He was a huge sports fan, especially football, and always cheered for his hometown teams.  Joseph adored his daughter; he cherished the time they spent together at Cedar Point and Tiger baseball games.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Bress; his daughter, Madison Bress; his parents James and Shereyl Bress; his brother Michael Bress; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery.  Due to the limitation of COVID-19 the services will be private.  During this difficult time please let the family know you are thinking of them and reach out with a phone call or leave an online condolence.
