Jordan C. Wells

January 29, 1981 — October 31, 2021

Jordan C. Wells

Age 40, of South Lyon, formerly of Farmington Hills, passed away October 31, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia; son of Walter and Jerry (Tingle) Wells.  He graduated from Heritage High School in Conyers, GA; Class of 1999.  Following high school, he attended Georgia Military College where he played on the golf team.  He then transferred to Georgia College and State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.  Jordan was united in marriage to Kaitlin Risk on August 21, 2010; they spent 11 years devoted to one another.

Jordan worked as a Regional Sales Director for Ansys in Ann Arbor for the past 6 years.  He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.  An avid golfer, Jordan was a member of Walnut Creek Country Club and golfed on many of the leagues.

Jordan loved to watch sports, especially football and while he married into a Michigan State family, he always cheered for his home state Georgia teams.  He volunteered as a coach for his kid’s basketball teams for several years.  One of his favorite places to be was up north on East Twin Lake in Lewiston spending quality time with family and friends boating, fishing, and snowmobiling.  Jordan was excellent at yard games and beer olympics; he was undefeated in the corn hole games that were played up north.  He liked to travel and loved a good swim up bar.  Jordan also liked to listen to music and traveled to many different cities to attend Ed Sheeran concerts, his favorite artist.  He loved to dance and was always the center of the dance floor whether it was a wedding, a party, or even the grocery store.  Jordan was larger than life, he had a huge personality and made everyone feel like they were his best friend.  He was incredibly generous and made a positive impact on the lives of those around him.  Jordan, who was always the life of the party, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.  His everything though, was his wife and children; he absolutely adored them and cherished all the time they spent together.

Jordan is survived by his loving wife, Kaitlin Wells; his children, Karsyn, Ellie, Sawyer, and Laina; his parents, Walt and Jerry Wells; his in-laws, James and Andrea Risk; his brothers, Cort (Rebecca) Wells, Tyler (Maggie) Wells, and Noah (Andrea) Wells; his sisters-in-law, Dr. Alyssa Risk and Kelsey (Drew) Naughton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
