James H. Yuhas

James H. Yuhas, age 64, of Northville, MI, formerly of Grosse Pointe Woods, passed away December 25, 2019.  He was born June 30, 1955 in Royal Oak, Michigan; Son of Peter (Doris) Yuhas and Georgean Shelp (Rudy Barden). He graduated from Churchill High School (1973).  Following high school, he attended Eastern Michigan University where he earned a bachelor’s degree.  James was united in marriage to Debra A. Kanigowski for 33 years.

James enjoyed spending time outdoors; skiing, bicycling, running, rowing, boating, and golfing.  He loved spending time with all of his family and adored the dogs.  James cherished the memories they made at their cottage up north and in Naples, FL on family vacations.

James is survived by his wife, Debra Yuhas; his children, Michael Yuhas (Jessica Lyon),  Jessica (John) Griffin and his granddaughter, Brooklyn Griffin; his siblings, Peter Larry Yuhas, Pamela Yuhas, Jo Anne (Scott) Stokfisz, and late Randy Barden; and his nieces and nephews.
