James F. Haas

James Francis Haas, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 24th, 2018. Jim was born April 18th, 1933 in Detroit to Michael Haas and Catherine Schwartzfisher. Jim married Marlene Maryanne Mucci on June 14th, 1958. Jim is survived by his wife Marlene, son Richard, daughter Elaine Bannon, grandson John Bannon and siblings Frederick and Marilyn. Jim was an avid sportsman including golf, hunting and fishing. He was a world class speed skater and outstanding football player in his teenage years. Jim was a Veteran of the Korean War. Jim always put his family first and he will be deeply missed by us all. May he Rest In Peace.

The viewing will be held at Casterline Funeral Home at 122 West Dunlap Street, Northville, MI from 2PM to 8PM on Thursday, December 27th. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28th at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Northville, MI with viewing at 10-10:30AM and service at 10:30AM. Lunch will be served immediately following the service at Genitti’s Hole in the Wall; 108 E. Main St, Northville, MI. He will be entombed at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, MI at 3PM December 28th.
