Jack graduated from Northville High School; class of 1967. He continued his education at Michigan State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in sociology. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Detroit College of Law.
Jack loved his career as a tax attorney. Jack worked for over 40 years providing tax and legal services to clients. He was currently employed with Fakhouri, Smith & Associates in Lathrup Village for the past 19 years. His dedication to helping others was evident in the work he did.
Jack was a passionate sports fan. He was appreciated and well known in the Northville and Novi communities as a favorite sports announcer. He was very personable and over the years developed many connections and friendships through Northville Public Schools. Sports announcing brought him great joy and he kept reams of stats and information about the sports he engaged with. He covered high school football, basketball, hockey, and girls’ soccer to name a few. Jack even had the honor of announcing some of the Lions Football games at Ford Field. When he wasn’t announcing, Jack was cheering for all the Detroit Teams he loved to watch. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and went above and beyond to take care of those he loved. Jack cherished the time he spent with family. He was incredibly close to his brothers and loved to watch his grandsons play baseball.
