Her love for home improvement projects was evident in the additions she built herself. Iva's creativity shone through in her woodworking endeavors, where she worked alongside her husband to craft exquisite grandfather clocks, cradles, and candlestick holders, which became cherished gifts for family and friends. A skilled seamstress, she took pride in sewing most of her own clothing, adding a personal touch to her wardrobe. In the kitchen, she was a wonderful cook, always bringing delicious dishes to family celebrations and holidays, sharing meals with Joan and Bob Bennett, the late Barbara and the late Richard Figueiredo, Kim and Ken Stratford, Brian and Pam Figueiredo, Mark Figueiredo, Korinne Mongahan, and Karmel and Tom Downs. Above all, Iva was a devoted wife and mother, a loving sister, aunt, and friend. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
