Ilene Harris

Ilene "Dolly" Harris passed away on March 8, 2023 surrounded by her three loving children. She was born Ilene Louise Stitzman on August 23,1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Evelyn(Morrison) Stitzman and her younger brother, Henry(Buzzy) Stitzman. Ilene attended Detroit Holy Redeemer High School, class of 1962, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Eventually, she settled in Northville where she raised her family and called home for 44 years.

She enjoyed a long and successful career in sales. Her dedication, work ethic and ability to develop strong personal relationships led her to excel in several markets until her retirement in 2015. Ilene’s interests included: cooking and baking for her family; traveling with her late partner of 16 years William (Bill) Manasco; sports, especially hockey; supporting local restaurants (Tiramisu, her favorite) and being a "second mom" to many of her children’s friends through the years. In her later years, she enjoyed most her time spent in Marana, AZ with Bill as well as time with her children and five grandchildren.

Ilene is survived by her children: Jerry (Jennifer) Pawloski, Jeff Pawloski, Krist (David) Lawrence and grandchildren: Abigail (Ryan Zemel) Lawrence, Annabelle Lawrence, Jack Pawloski, Adam Lawrence, and Alexandra Pawloski.
