Geraldine S. Gale

Geraldine S. Gale, age 91, of Northville, passed away March 20, 2019. She was born on May 31, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of George and Violet (nee Hubert) Young.  Geraldine was united in marriage to Jerry Gale on February 11, 1949; they spent 53 loving years together as husband and wife until his death in 2003.

Geraldine was a devoted homemaker.  Happiest when taking care of her family, she was a wonderful cook and baker.  Her cookies were always a family favorite.  Geraldine was very trendy and fashionable; she enjoyed shopping for shoes and clothes.  She was talented at crocheting and made many hats that she gifted to those she loved.

Geraldine is survived by her loving children, Jeanette (Michael) Hayden and Gary Gale; her grandchildren, Jason Gale, Jerrold Hayden, and Jasmine Hayden; and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Zariah, and Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and several siblings.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 W. Dunlap, Northville.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at South Lyon Cemetery in South Lyon
