Gary L. Mobarak

Gary L. Mobarak, age 72, of South Lyon, passed away September 22, 2018.  He was born on June 20, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, son of Francis and Thelma (nee Treaster) Mobarak.  He was a 1964 graduate of Northville High School.  Gary was united in marriage to Kristie L. Fritz on August 26, 1965. They have lived in South Lyon for over 20 years. Gary and Kristie were devoted to each other for over 53 years.

Gary was a Tooling Engineer with Loc Performance in Plymouth. He was a past member of the Brighton Lions Club. A true outdoorsman, Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He liked the challenge of completing a jigsaw puzzle. Gary was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved supporting and watching his grandchildren during their various activities and sports.

Gary is survived by his wife Kristie; his daughters, Kimberly (James Roscoe) Mobarak and Michelle Mobarak; his siblings, Sunday Ealey, Frank (Kathy) Mobarak, Jr., Iris (James) Menzel, Robert (Brenda) Mobarak, and Kenneth (Rita Adams) Mobarak; and his grandchildren Madison Workman, Roy Workman, and Jack Workman.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
