Duane A. Deron

Duane A. Deron, age 53, a longtime resident of Northville, passed away December 5, 2023. He was born on May 27, 1970 in Wayne, Michigan; son of Dennis and Sharon (Scott) Deron.

Duane graduated from Redford High School; class of 1988.  Following graduation, he went to work alongside his dad as a Heat and Frost Insulator for the Local 25.  Duane was currently working with Bondy Insulation.

Duane had a strong work ethic and a great mechanical and construction skill set.   When he wasn’t at work, he was helping neighbors and family with anything they needed from a simple chore to a remodeling project.   Selfless and giving, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.  Duane took pristine care of his home and took pride in maintaining his yard and acreage.  He liked all things NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhart fanatic.  He enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music, especially 80’s and 90’s hairbands like Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Kiss, and Kid Rock.  Duane adored his Siamese cats, Sky, Misty, and Jasmine.   He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend; he will be missed by all who loved him.

Duane is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Deron; his brother, Shawn (Cathy) Deron; his significant other, Juanita Lewis; his uncle, Edward M. Deron; his aunt, Evelyn Tabben; and many cousins, extended family, neighbors, and friends.  He was preceded in death exactly 4 months to the day by his father.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville.  He will be laid to rest with his father at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
