Donald H. Lindemier

Donald H. Lindemier, age 82, of Northville, passed away on January 14, 2020. He was born on June 18, 1937 in Perrysburg, Ohio; son of Harvey C. and Hazel P. (nee Frusher) Lindemier. He was united in marriage to Ann E. Gardner on December 26, 1959; spending over 53 years devoted to each other until her death on July 15, 2013. They made Northville their home in 1973 after moving from Grand Ledge.

Don was a 1955 graduate of Houghton Lake High School. He worked as a Labor Union Representative with Communication Workers of America International Union for over 25 years. Honesty and integrity are words that describe Don the best. He enjoyed golfing and dancing; he was the life of the party. He was an avid MSU fan and supported his children and grandchildren during their sporting events. Don was a member of the Northville Fraternal Order of Eagles and was very active in local and state politics. He was a kind, gentle, and loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

Don is survived by his sons, Steve Lindemier, Jeff Lindemier, and Eric Lindemier; his sisters, Dorothy (Curtis) James, Shirley Ordorico; his brother Paul Lindemier; and his grandchildren, Tyler Lindemier, Sandy Palacios, Erick Palacios, Donny Lindemier, and Darian Lindemier. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 from 5pm until 8pm and Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 4pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held at 11am, with visitation beginning at 10am on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Donald will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
