Dee, as many friends knew her, lived in Livonia for one very happy year. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from St. Peter’s High School, class of 1960. She moved to Warren, Michigan 20 years ago after marrying Tom. Delia was a secretary for AA Importing and later worked for Standard Oil, then BP.
Delia dedicated countless hours to many different charitable organizations. Upon joining these organizations, she would quickly take on leadership roles. This characteristic was recognized by the Mayor of Mayfield Heights, Ohio who wrote a letter to the Warren Mayor when Delia moved letting him know the asset he was gaining. Delia loved to read mystery novels and liked to play Bingo at her home in Parkside in Livonia. She enjoyed going to The Chocolate Gallery Café in Warren every Friday and Sunday to meet her friends for breakfast; they talked about everything from politics to the daily dish. She was quite the socialite. Delia was crafty and was a talented painter. She was a loving and proud mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
