David Lee Bramlett

May 25, 1957 — July 30, 2020

David Lee Bramlett, age 63, a lifelong resident of Plymouth, sadly has passed away July 30 th , 2020. He was born May 25 th , 1957 in Hartford, Connecticut; son of Ralph and Lillian Bramlett. Dave graduated from Plymouth Salem High School, Class of 1975.

Dave was always a hands on, hardworking man. And whoever was lucky enough to employ him, discovered that in short notice. He was employed at a small manufacturing company for a period of time, and later acquired employment at Art Van Furniture, where he became a distribution handler, and assistant warehouse manager for almost 10 years.

Early on, Dave discovered his talent for mechanics. At first, it was all about extending his forks on his Stingray bicycle, changing his handlebars, and tires.  After getting his driver's license, everything evolved. Then it became all about making whatever he was driving, go faster. He loved cars, and always had the hood up on something, for whatever reason. He thoroughly enjoyed watching NASCAR, an avid fan, to say the least. And Dave was absolutely thrilled when he had the opportunity to drive one on Michigan International Speedway.

Dave loved watching his football, and NASCAR alike. He loved his old TV shows, and movies, definitely on the nostalgic side. He enjoyed working in the yard, and was forever neat and organized. He was a meticulous man, from the way he dressed, to (an always), shiny car. He took care of whatever he owned. He loved a good game of pool, and if it was a rainy Sunday...even better. Dave definitely loved his music and loved the Blues more than anything. He often enjoyed some Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, or Led Zeppelin just to name a few.

But more importantly, Dave was just a good human being. He would stop at nothing to help someone out, whether they asked for it or not. He had a good heart, attached to a generous soul. If you were lucky enough to be a friend of Dave’s, you knew it. He always had a smile just for you. Simply put, he was a wonderful man, and cherished the times he could spend with his family, and friends.

Dave is survived by his closest cousin; JoAnn White, and a circle of very close friends; Darcy, Pam, Craig and Nicole, Keith and Cheryl, Ed, Bob, Steve, and Jill. He was never short of love.
