Danielle Boutin

October 29, 1969 — April 20, 2020

Danielle Boutin, age 50, of Northville, passed away April 20th, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born to Johanna Rossetti and the late Robert Delp on October 29th, 1969 in Warren, Michigan. Danielle graduated in 1988 from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, and following high school she attended Western Michigan University. She married Robert "Bob" Boutin on July 2, 1993. They began their family in Tennessee when they got her beloved Dachshund Frankie and Frankie's Tabby brother Johnny, later moving to Royal Oak and making a final move to Northville in 2001.

Danielle most valued her career as a mother and her children's friends could always be found enjoying a home-cooked meal at her house. Her rule of "You don't have to eat it all, but you do have to try one bite if you sit at my table" opened the world of Italian and Mediterranean food to many Northville kids. After her children were grown, she worked as a Banquet Server and periodic grill cook at Schoolcraft College. Danielle was an exceptional wife, mother, neighbor, and friend. She was most often found in the kitchen, cooking elaborate meals and singing and dancing to country music. Italian cooking was her specialty; family and friends loved when she made her famous Risotto. A dedicated party host, Danielle always made certain guests were well-fed, well-hydrated, and enjoying themselves. Danielle loved to exercise at her local gym, but exercising eventually gave way to socializing with all the friends she made there. She loved traveling to Cancun, Mexico where she relaxed in the warmth of the sun with her family. Danielle was thoughtful and giving, opening her heart and home to all that knew her. Her beautiful smile, outgoing personality, and infectious laugh brightened every room she entered and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Bob; her children, Elizabeth (Rafsan) Huseynov and Chancellor Boutin; her mother, Johanna Delp; her brothers, Christopher (Mary) Delp and Robert (Lauren) Delp; and her mother-in-law, Eileen Boutin. She is also survived and will be missed by her extended family and her cherished friends and neighbors. Danielle was preceded in death by her father.
