Daniel Festian

Daniel Festian, age 68, of Farmington, passed away January 3, 2023. He was born on January 21, 1954 in Ypsilanti, Michigan; son of Daniel and Mary (Zaika) Festian. Dan was united in marriage to Tamela “Tammy” Martin on November 7, 1998; dedicated to their love for over 24 years.

Dan graduated from Riverside High School in Dearborn Heights, class of 1972. He worked as a car salesman for many years. He was a past member of the Northville Eagles Club and a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Farmington. Dan loved watching sports; there wasn’t a sport he did not watch. His favorite was NASCAR. He also enjoyed playing and watching golf. Dan liked listening to music, especially Rock ‘n’ Roll and the Blues. When the music was on in the house, it was so loud the whole house would vibrate. Dan had an incredible sarcastic sense of humor and loved to tease his friends. Dan was fun to be around and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Tammy; his stepdaughter Carrie Martin; his sister Maria (Chris) Buschbacher; his nieces and nephews, Shelby, Christopher “Robby”, Nicole, Bianca, and Gino; and his mother-in-law Virginia Martin. He was also loved by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael Festian.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from Noon until 3pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 3pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Pastor Christopher Fairbairn from St. Paul Lutheran Church of Northville will officiate the service. Dan will be laid to rest with his parents at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
