Connie dedicated over 30 years of her career to Human Resources at General Motors Truck and Coach in Pontiac before retiring. Well respected and liked by her colleagues, Connie formed lasting friendships that extended beyond the workplace. She was an active participant in golf leagues and bowling teams, and she enjoyed traveling and spending time on the water, boating and fishing with friends who became like family. Connie was also a proud member of the GM Women’s Club.
In her downtime, Connie found peace on the water, relaxing and fishing. She loved to travel, visiting destinations like Hawaii, California, and Myrtle Beach, but her favorite trips were those spent visiting family in the South and seeing loved ones in the military. Connie also enjoyed the thrill of the casino, trying her luck on the slot machines.
Connie’s greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her daughter and granddaughters. She treasured their days together shopping, thrifting, garage saleing, and scrapbooking. Strong-willed and feisty, Connie liked things her way, but her kindness and generosity always shone through. She was incredibly supportive and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Connie had a gift for making friends everywhere she went and cherished the close bonds she shared with her neighbors. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
