Charles D. Anderson

Charles D. Anderson, age 90, of Plymouth formerly of Northville, passed away October 17, 2020. He was born on September 16, 1930 in Bellmawr, New Jersey; son of Robert and Ruth (nee Gaskill) Anderson. Charles proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1950 until 1953. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Karsnick in 1952; lovingly devoted to each other for 44 years until her death in 1996.

Charles worked for the Northville Public Schools for 40 years; mostly taking care of maintenance at Silver Springs Elementary School. Charles loved solving word search puzzles and reading the newspaper; this kept his mind sharp. He was exceedingly kind and giving and always helped others in his community.

Charles is survived by his dear friends Mary Dubke, Michelle Voineag, and Robert Ruokolainen. Also survived by many friends at Independence Village. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his twin sister Betty.
