Carolyn "Coco" Louise Tobin

Carolyn “Coco” Louise Tobin, age 71, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019.  She was born July 22, 1947 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; daughter of George Downing Arnold and Helen Louise Carter. She was united in marriage to Albert Tobin on November 26, 1976; devoted to each other for over 33 years until his death in 2009. She was a longtime resident of Salem Township.

Carolyn was a wonderful homemaker who loved being with her family. Her zest for life and her great sense of humor made it easy to be her friend. She enjoyed reading and laughing often. With her easy-going attitude, she was someone people admired. Carolyn was a very giving and loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her children, Karen Tobin and Cindy Tobin; her siblings, Virginia (Robert) Feria, Patricia (Joe) Polite, and Jim (Chris Schrank) Arnold; her grandchildren, Aaron Tobin and Jourdan Tobin; and her great granddaughter Savannah Braveheart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A private service will be held. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to be used according to the wishes of the family of  Carolyn Tobin, c/o Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville, MI 48167.
