Brenda J. Johnson

Brenda J. Johnson, age 47, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2019. She was born on November 3, 1972 in Livonia, Michigan; daughter of Jimmie and Karen (nee Anderson) Harper.

Brenda grew up in South Lyon and was a 1991 graduate of South Lyon High School. She has lived in Wixom for the past 10 years. Brenda was a Crossing Guard with the City of Novi Police Department for many years. She was very hardworking and enjoyed driving around with no destination. Brenda loved gardening and flowers; she also liked to go horseback riding. Brenda loved playing with her two dogs, Dakota and Autumn. She was a loving, generous, and kind mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by her son Andrew S. Johnson and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Timothy Harper and Kenneth Harper.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Lakes Bible Church, 309 Decker Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390. Elder Phil Wilson will officiate the service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to a charity of the giver’s choice.
