Bonnie M. Raymor

November 24, 1963 — April 3, 2022

Bonnie M. Raymor, age 58, a longtime resident of Salem, Michigan, passed away on April 3, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1963 in Ann Arbor, Michigan; daughter of Gerald and Alice (Richmond) Raymor. She graduated from South Lyon High School; class of 1981.

Bonnie was a dedicated home health care worker. She provided love and care to many clients and treated them like family. Bonnie was a very hard worker and never stopped caring for others.

Bonnie liked puzzles, crocheting, and was exceptional at the tedious hobby of diamond painting. She was an avid collector of anything M & M, seashells, snow babies, and unicorns. Bonnie was a great baker, her family will miss the many varieties of cookies she made during the holidays, especially her delicious chocolate chip cookies. Bonnie loved surprising her great nieces and nephews with spontaneous trips to the beach at Kensington or with fun gifts. Watching the kids play with the gifts she gave made her genuinely happy. She loved being outdoors and was always the life of the party. Bonnie was a compassionate and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Bonnie is survived by her son Stephen Bratka; her daughter at heart Carrie (Cecil George) Cottingham; her brothers, Gerald (Deborah Piesz) Raymor, Russell (Margaret) Raymor, and Robert (Michelle) Raymor; her grandchildren at heart, Cara, Caden, Cenia, Dominic, Cylus, Alexandria, and Ryah; and her nieces and nephews, April, Gerald, Charley, Bruce, Magen, Angela, and Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bonnie will be laid to rest with her parents at Salem Walker Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the giver’s choice.
