Each year they would take a long road trip to destinations like California, Nova Scotia, Florida, the Rocky Mountains, stopping along the way to see the sights. In his later years, Benjamin would take shorter trips in Florida and the surrounding states where he liked to try his luck on the nickel slots at the casino. He also enjoyed cruising his boat in Florida’s inter coastal area. In the winter months he would travel south to his condo in West Palm Beach to follow the warmer weather. Benjamin was an amateur photographer and developed his own slides at home. Of the hundreds of slides he has; the subjects were mostly his family and landscapes. Benjamin leaves behind a profound legacy of hard work and unwavering dedication to his family that will forever echo in the hearts of those that were fortunate enough to know him.
