Anton Eberhardt

Age 73, of Northville, passed away September 23, 2021. He was born May 20, 1948 in Germany; son of Anton and Anna (Price) Eberhardt. Anton was united in marriage to his soulmate Deborah E. Drongowski on September 27, 1968; a love he cherished for over 52 years until her death on August 29, 2021.

Anton moved from Germany to Detroit, Michigan when he was 4 years old. He raised his family in Westland and moved to Northville in 2013. He was devoted to providing for his family and took great pride in them. Anton a hardworking Custodian for Livonia Public Schools for 21 years.

He loved to cook and was known for his spectacular holiday dinners. His daughters were lucky to have learned from him how to cook such extravagant dinners because as he got older, he passed the tradition to them. Anton enjoyed gardening and watching tv. Some of his favorite shows were Judge Judy, The Office, and Jerry Springer. He liked listening to a variety of music like The Doors and Metallica. Anton was a big teddy bear, so comfortable to talk to because he truly listened and gave genuine advice. He loved spending time with his grandchildren telling them stories of his past. Anton was proud, dedicated, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Anton is survived by his daughters, Antonette (Scott) Vallely, Tania Sessoms, Trisha (Scott) Maggard, and Theresa (Jeremy) Styers; his grandchildren, Kyle (Sara) Vallely, Kevin Vallely, Kendall (Dylan) Curtsinger, Karah Vallely, Kaitlinn Vallely, Timothy Sessoms Jr., Emily Maggard, and Jeremy Styers Jr; and his great granddaughter Carter Curtsinger.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his son Stephan Eberhardt two days before his death.
