He continued his education at Wayne State University in Detroit where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Design and Merchandising. Alex lovingly shared his life with his partner of 8 years, Cody Guerrero.
Following high school, Alex began a successful career in the fashion industry, excelling as a retail store manager and visual merchandiser. He brought his keen eye for design and creativity to brands such as Forever 21, Banana Republic, Pitaya, and Cotton On. Alex was a passionate and dedicated freestyle figure skater whose love for the ice spanned over two decades. He laced up his first pair of skates at the age of 5 and began competing just a year later. Sunday dinners with family were a cherished tradition, and his beloved cats, Stu, Audra, and Moose, were his constant companions. Growing up, he shared a special bond with his golden doodle, Maxwell, who adored him and was always eager to follow the commands he was taught. Alex also had a love for travel, exploring destinations like Paris, London, and various parts of Europe, and as a child he treasured the memories from visits to Disney. He especially loved his time in Bay Harbor, where he could relax by the lake, enjoy shopping, and escape the busyness of daily life.
Alex had a love for pop culture and stayed connected through reality TV, YouTube, and social media platforms like Twitter and TikTok.
