Age 79, longtime resident of Northville, passed away on September 16, 2012. He was born on August 4, 1933 to Ernest Salisbury and Harriet Dalby. Robert started in the photofinishing industry when he was 16 years old, eventually rising to the position of Vice President at World Camera, where he retired in 1987. Robert served his country in the Air Force, during the Korean War. Robert was a member at The First Baptist Church of Northville. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling the world. He especially enjoyed going on cruises. Robert was a devoted family man, and loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughter Deborah (Edward) Pilarz; his step-children, Christopher (Jennifer) Myers, Michele (William) Crawford, Cheryl (James) Nickolaou and Kirk Myers; his 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marilyn Salisbury; his son, John Salisbury and his daughter Sharon Hughes. Visitation will be held Thursday September 20, 2012 from 5 until 8 pm at Casterline Funeral Home, Inc. 122 West Dunlap, Northville, MI 48167. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Northville, 217 N. Wing, Northville, MI 48167.
