Vitina M. Laudicina Age 96, of Dearborn, passed away December 18, 2012. She was born April 30, 1916 in Albion; daughter of Nicola and Giacomina (Lodato) Palise. She spent most of her life in Dearborn before moving to Livonia and Northville. She was united in marriage to Jasper Laudicina on November 5, 1949; they spent over 51 loving years together until his death in 2000. Vitina loved to crochet and knit. She was a very patient and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crafting with her grandchildren and was very family oriented. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline (Jim) Maicki and Anthony Laudicina; her stepdaughters, Ann (Steve) Watts and Virginia Reynolds; her brother Nick (Dorothy) Palise; her sister Phyllis Clayton; her grandchildren, Anthony (Angela) Maicki, Anita (Nick) Coffman, Steven Laudicina, and Samantha Laudicina; and her newborn great grandson Christopher Coffman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings, Matina Denaro, Jack Palise, Sam Palise, Angelina Manzo, Joe Palise, and Frank Palise. The visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Deacon Kenneth Fry from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to a charity of the giver''s choice.
