Ann Elizabeth M. Ziegler

Ann Elizabeth M. Ziegler Age 79, a longtime resident of Northville, passed away December 29, 2012. She was born May 8, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of Joseph and Helen Grace (Hogan) FitzGerald. She was united in marriage to Ralph J. Ziegler on February 12, 1955; they spent 47 loving years together until his death in 2002. For many years Ann worked in the medical billing department at an office in Dearborn. She was a past member of the Northville Moose Lodge. Ann loved playing cards and enjoyed bowling. She was a very loving mother and a funny grandmother. She is survived by her son, James (Kim) Ziegler; her sisters, Joan FitzGerald and Mary Boldt; her brother William FitzGerald; her brother-in-laws Paul Chuba and Richard Llewelyn; and her granddaughters, Kendall (Kevin) Cislo, Valerie, Taylor, and Jaymie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters Helen Chuba and Rosemary Llewelyn, and her brother Joseph FitzGerald. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 10am-Noon with a memorial service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Deacon Kenneth J. Fry from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Rural Hill Cemetery.
