Don is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and David Kerr; his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathon and Lori Vento; and his beloved grandchildren, Jason Livingston, Brooke Fisher, Amie Wendt and Kylie Vento. Don and his beloved wife, Midge, traveled extensively for his job with Teledyne Continental Motors as a project engineer. They were lucky enough to make their home in several locations in Germany, Switzerland, and Venezuela. Don also traveled in over 50 additional countries around the world. Don was born and grew up in Muskegon, MI. He loved fishing, golfing, and boating. He was a superb cook, and he and Midge were famous for their dinner parties and entertaining. Don was an avid reader and did the New York Times crossword every day. He also dearly loved going to the casino with Midge and their friends. He was a truly kind and gentle spirit with dear friends and strangers alike. He was our friend, our mentor, our teacher, and most importantly, the best father and grandfather a family could be blessed to have. We love you and will miss you always dear Papa! The family is asking that donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation at http://www.pdf.org/fund memdon in lieu of flowers or gifts.
