Leona N. Andrews Age 98, of Lake, a former longtime resident of Northville, passed away February 4, 2013. She was born April 15, 1914 in Perry, Michigan; daughter of Harry and Nellie (Byer) Estey. She was a 1932 graduate of Lansing High School. Leona was united in marriage to Rev. James F. Andrews on August 18, 1933; they spent 70 loving years together until his death in 2003. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was very devoted to her faith; she was a member and Pastor at the Full Salvation Union Church in Northville. One of her favorite pastimes was reading bible passages. She is survived by her children, James (Dolores) Andrews, Thomas (Barbara) Andrews, Naomi (Richard) Blain, David Andrews, John (Cynthia) Andrews, Philip Andrews, Joseph Andrews, William (Kimberly) Andrews, and Mary Andrews; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Grace Henning, her granddaughter Debra Hart, her brother Lloyd Estey, and her sister Mildred Geisenhaver. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 10am until Noon with the funeral service beginning at Noon at Casterline Funeral Home, 59255 Ten Mile Road, South Lyon. Interment will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 12:30pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, 2775 South Sprinkle Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49408. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Leona N.
