Gerry S. Culpepper Age 71, of Northville, passed away suddenly February 28, 2013. He was born October 1, 1941 in Dearborn, Michigan; son of Henry and Helen (Lockman) Culpepper. Gerry spent his childhood in Dearborn, lived in various places throughout his life, and has lived in Northville for the last 15 years. He was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan. Gerry retired in 2007 from Flint Group Inc.; where he was an accountant for many years. He also was a past employee of Ford Motor Co.; he spent 5 years working in South America. Gerry was very active with the Northville Art House; he was a commissioner and the treasurer. He was also active with the Northville community and organized the DuMouchelles appraisal clinic in town. He loved art, music, photography and traveling; and was an avid art collector. Gerry was a wine and food connoisseur who liked to cook. He also enjoyed gardening both floral and herbal. He was a very devoted son, a caring brother, and had a generous heart. He is survived by his mother Helen M. Culpepper; his sister Sharon (James) Roberts; his nephews, Mark (Nancy) Roberts, Todd Roberts, and Jim (Becky) Roberts; his dear friends Galina Koriduzki, Peter Erickson, and John Cameron; and 4 great nieces and nephews.
