Mark B. Wentz A resident of Waterford for the past 10 years, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2013 at the age of 50. He was born November 10, 1962 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania; son of Stanford and Helen (nee Gordon) Wentz. He was united in marriage to the loved of his life Megan Abraham on May 17, 2003. Big Mark, as he was known to many, worked for Home Depot for 20 years in the receiving department. He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed working as a DJ because of his love of music. Halloween was his favorite holiday; his wife Megan said it was like "his Christmas". He also liked to watch horror movies. He loved his friends and adored his dogs Griffin, Tyson, Emma, Otis, and Ed. Mark is survived by his beloved wife Megan; his siblings, Stanette Wentz, Bill (Bonnie) Wentz, Rick (Jolene) Wentz, and Stanford (Kathy) Wentz. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Bessie Reed. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25 from 5-8pm and Friday, April 26 from 10-11am with the Funeral Service beginning at 11am at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Rev. Robin Gilshire with St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brighton will officiate the service.
