Patricia Ann Carlton

Patricia A. Carlton, age 76, of South Lyon, passed away May 8, 2013. She was born on November 24, 1936 in Pembroke, N.C. to Albert and Anna (nee Chavis) Hunt. She married Leon "Duke" Carlton on July 24, 1960; they spent 42 loving years together until his death in 2002. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of South Lyon. Patricia enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping. She adored spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, Kimberly (Joe) Leugers, Daniel (Debbie) Carlton, and Matthew (Michelle) Carlton; her brother Dwight (Sudie) Hunt; her sister-in-law Barbara Hunt; her grandchildren, Joe Leugers, Danielle Carlton, Dayna Carlton, Dorian Carlton, Justin Carlton, Ryan Carlton, and Rebecca Carlton; her great grandson Dylan; and her dear companion Bob Tyranski. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Bill Black and Eric Hunt, her sister Madge Lowry, and her grandson Jamie Leugers. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11 from 3-6pm with a funeral beginning at 6pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville.
